Refund Policy

At Yunwei Network Technology, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for our digital subscription products. By purchasing a subscription to PlantDoc or any other Yunwei digital product, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new Pro subscriptions (monthly and annual). If you are not satisfied with PlantDoc for any reason within the first 14 days of your initial purchase, you are entitled to a full refund — no questions asked.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at support@plantdoc.app with the email address associated with your PlantDoc account.
  2. Include your order ID (found in your Paddle receipt email) or the email address used for purchase.
  3. Briefly state your reason for the refund request (this helps us improve, but is not required).
  4. We will process your request within 5 business days.

3. Eligibility Conditions

A refund will be granted if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.
  • This is your first-time purchase of a PlantDoc Pro subscription (or your first renewal after a gap of 90+ days).
  • You have not violated the Terms of Service (e.g., no automated abuse, no unauthorized redistribution of the App).
  • The subscription has not already been partially refunded.

4. What Is NOT Refundable

We cannot issue refunds in the following situations:

  • Requests made more than 14 days after the purchase date.
  • Renewal charges for ongoing subscriptions after the initial 14-day period has passed (you may cancel future renewals at any time).
  • Requests where the purchaser has engaged in abuse or violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Partial month refunds for mid-cycle cancellations (cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period).

5. Annual Subscription Refunds

For annual Pro subscriptions ($29.99/year):

  • The same 14-day money-back guarantee applies to the initial purchase.
  • After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but remain fully usable for the remainder of the year.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal at any time to prevent future charges. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual term.

6. Refund Process & Timeline

  1. Upon receiving your request, we review it within 2–3 business days.
  2. If approved, we initiate the refund through Paddle.com (our payment processor).
  3. Funds typically appear back in your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  4. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
  5. Your Pro subscription access will be downgraded to Free tier upon refund approval.

7. Technical Issues & Bugs

If you are requesting a refund due to technical issues with the App:

  • Please describe the issue in detail so our engineering team can investigate.
  • We may offer to fix the issue as an alternative to a refund, which may be faster than waiting for a refund to process.
  • If we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund will be granted regardless of the 14-day window.

8. Digital Product Nature

Important note: PlantDoc is a digital software product (mobile application). By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

  • Instant access to all digital content and features begins immediately upon purchase.
  • Digital goods cannot be "returned" in the physical sense — this is why we offer a clear 14-day trial window.
  • All sales of digital products outside the 14-day window are final.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Changes do not retroactively affect purchases made before the change date.
